Conversation with Pam...

This post comes after a conversation with a woman...that thought she knew me better than she quickly found out that she didn't...I've known her a little over three years & she felt that entitled her to speak up when it comes to my life decisions...even though I didn't ask her how she felt about my life & how I'm living it...I know...people have an opinion & always will...to keep things simple...I'll refer to her as Pam & I'm SB of course..here's how the conversation went...

SB: Hello
Pam: Good Tuesday Morning Honey!
SB: Morning Sweetie, what's going on?
Pam: I've heard some news about you thru mutual friends & I need facts.
SB: ...waiting...waiting...waiting...
SB: Are you going to share the news with me or am I supposed to guess?
Pam: Honey, you sure are a hoot...
SB: ...waiting...waiting...waiting...
Pam: I sure hope it's not true!
SB: I'm still waiting Pam, tell me what you've heard or I'm hanging up.
Pam: I just know it's not true, I told them to stop spreading rumors about darling SugarBeth!
SB: Just how long is this call going to take, I am at work!
Pam: I told them there is no way that a Southern Belle like yourself would partake in something as outlandish as that, even though you are sassy & like doing things your way...I told them it's just not true.
SB: Again Pam, I'm at work.
Pam: Honey tell me it isn't so.
SB: Shut your mouth unless you are going to tell me what has caused you to pick up the phone & waste my time...I need to be downing Mountain Dew about now...not wondering what you've heard about me & can't seem to say.
Pam: I swear SugarBeth...you say what you're feeling don't you.
SB: I'm hanging up...
Pam: WAIT...
SB: Spit it out Pam, how can I give you facts if I don't know what in the world you are talking about???
Pam: I still can't believe my darling SugarBeth would do anything as crazy as this.
SB: ...waiting...waiting...
Pam: I would've never thought you would put yourself in a position like this.
SB: Good Bye Pam.

Now...this was just one of many conversations that I have with Pam...which I don't really consider a conversation...it's more like her talking at me...lol...after hanging up the phone...I can think of a couple of things that this conversation could have led to...but...I'm not one to start naming things & since she wasn't informing me of what she heard...she will just have to wonder if it's true or not.
